This week Emmy got glasses! WOW! In the last little while we have noticed a change in Emily's sight, When I do flashcard with her she struggles to see the letter, I have some times ask if she can see good and of course she says it's perfect, but when she couldn't see the cow in front of her I decided to take both girls in for a check up, Kylie's eye's where perfect :)) ! but Emily's weren't she has a eye that struggles worst than the other so I ordered glasses for her. Chris had a hard time with this, he was worried about kids being kids and making fun of her! but no need to worry there Emily can take of herself and won't put up with that. I tried to take a picture of her with glasses on and she wasn't thinking that was to cool so this was the best, she looks super cute with them on. P.S she wants everyone to tell her she took's adorable!! lol....

I knew she'd look so cute!! And you're right if anyone dares to make fun of her, she'll put em in their place! She looks even more grown up now! WOW!

And it's been my experience that kids don't really make fun of kids with glasses. Alecia thinks she looks ugly in hers, so she never wanted to wear them in public. When other kids in her class got glasses, it somehow made it okay for her to have glasses, too. Now she wears them all during school. Tons of kids have glasses. Even in Cory's class of hooligans in fifth grade, kids with glasses look out for one another. And there's a lot of them. About half of his class. Throughout Cory's almost 8 years of wearing glasses, and Alecia's one year, neither have ever felt picked on by other kids.
